hit by a sledgehammer
     my no longer viable frame
          leaking tissue paper thin-ness

               not a soul could save me
          nowhere was a cure
     bidding farewell
with my juices puddled on the floor

at which point i whimpered
     grimly of conformity
          the pointlessness of life and death

               popping off
          all used up and apopleptic
     in one final slide
