          positronic politicians
     yipping yapping pointlessly
many millions cast aside
     across starvation sidewalks
it's a time of callous indifference

     humanity & honesty
for many out of favor
     distancing themselves
          from being honest everyday

corporados jockeying
     for power and position
          hurry worry & scurry about

     uptight & so very busy having
          bank account conniptions
               enormous quotidians
                    of prune-faced republicans
               protected by a bitchslap
          book of regulations

               bores exporting sentimental
          meathead family values
     cagey rats &
fat wad crackers
     buggering up suburban flagpoles
          olive drab
               suburban flags

                    dim bulb
     stuffed-shirt couch potatoes
          under tight lipped
          satellite dishes
               brains ingesting brainwash
                    o say can you see
                         by your hdtv
          it's a time of callous indifference
