on deluded flights of fancy, from the cloisters to delancey.
curses and corrosive jeers, all that's on the sidewalk here.
gangland rat won't tell you that the well respected
bureaucrat … he's bought off … the truth is that
no one can be trusted.

sleeping next to dumpsters, porcupine-sters paying dues,
bad boys dripping from their pores the gotham city blues.
pakistani taxi drivers pumping made-in-china shoes … trying to
advance beyond the gotham city blues.
