destructive and dystopian force
at its bottom and its source

underpinning buts of course

manipulators social climbers

jerks without attention spans
scarfing down diseased banana
blobs of toxic food and drink

as polar ice is busting up
and animals become extinct
crises pile up despite
a few insightful souls who think

to stem the tide
