it may not change your life but this music IS fun fun fun ... The Tawdry Hepburn CD!

Click here to VISIT BLORT (also by Frank Media), where you will find  The Underground Crawlspace Review anti-literature E-zine  D-Zine anti-censorship news, plus more great animation and multimedia

Here are some interesting sites - and other media sources - all highly recommended:

Tawdry Hepburn  Find out why this band is taking over San Francisco ... "Provocative experimental music tastefully uncompromising strapped in the roller coaster of passion kerblembled improbability."

www.hevanet.com  This may well be the singlemost important underground art-and-culture links page now on the net. Nevermind some outdated links, this page has everything that matters and then some. Screw the search engines. If it's mindblowing and it matters, you WILL find it here. For cultural invention on the web, this is ground zero.

www.absurd.org  This is an incredible, utterly ingenius, mindblasting site that will totally blow you away. You MUST go visit this. Dangerously inventive geekage that wreaks havoc with your user interface and toys with the very notion of sending and receiving messages through a computer screen.

www.subculture.com  This mindblasting site will also blow you away. Put together by the lowbrow crew from Fuse Gallery in New York City East Village - this site uses innovative Flash and javascripts to totally take control of your desktop - bound to freak people out who don't know any better - the site changes constantly and its very very funny.

Subculture West  This is the web home of KC Wilder's underground radio journalism project - a kind of cousin project to NYC Subculture (above), inspired by the same tastefully off-the-wall independent ethos. The latest airtimes for upcoming Wilder radio broadcasts can be found here, as well as archives of past interviews and insight into the thinking that goes into the shows. Currently broadcasting on selected Thursday nites over KUSF in San Francisco, 90.3 FM.

Wilder Photo Imagery  Mystical nature photography of remote American West - jagged salt flats in Death Valley, the immense grandeur of the Sierra Nevada, desolate ghost towns, wide open horizons with joshua trees and sagebrush evoking solitude and wanderlust.

Pink Cathouse  Friendly San Francisco Bay Area arts networking site, primarily for theater but extending to other arts too. Useful and tastefully put together.

Zafusy  Interesting and well crafted E-zine. Go there, you will like the experience.

NIKLINEHILLBIGHTcool e-zine that deserves support. odd name but if you go to the site and read the interesting story behind it, you'll see why. why aren't there more e-zines like this one? this is the real grass roots, a true launch pad for music culture, not some sellout industry b.s. forget riffage and emusic and virtual tunes, screw mp3.com and all the other slimebag exploiters of grass roots music. what the music world needs is a few dozen more like NIKLINEHILLBIGHT!
