Picture hypnotized while chasing after
blood soaked dollar bills
heedless to the shrieks and cries
of creatures stuck on chainsaws

banker grins across the room
from behind expensive desk
positively boasting

"this is what we do my friends
environmental management
our machines and men
are paving over what remains
building bigger more efficient
multi tier parking lots"

"see our chart
profits clear and plain"

the most defenseless and
endangered animals are maimed
sacrificed for stultefying
suburb strip and shopping malls

apparently devoid
of any foresight or compassion
gouging and dismantling
yelping into cel phones

paving over swamps and wetlands
wiping out ecologies
ruthless bankers on mad sprees
deforming mother nature
